Spring 2012

Among other engagements and practicing towards another solo recording in March, I will be joining the National Ballet Orchestra again in a orchestral concert of Joby Talbot's evocative score Alice in Wonderland. The performance is at 8pm April 3rd, 2012 at Koerner Hall (273 Bloor Street West, Toronto).

From April 23-27 I will be joining the Blue Rider Ensemble for a recording of the music of Canadian composer Peter Hatch. The recording will be called Blue Memos.

Notable guitarist/composer David Occhipinti will have a concert featuring him and his guitar and his music at the Glenn Gould Studio: 8pm April 30th. I will be playing marimba with other special guest performers. Looking forward to that! LOVE his music!

The Eastman School of Music is hosting a Percussion Festival to which I have been invited to perform. The 2 day festival called Percussion Rochester will be happening May 4 and 5, 2012. Please drop by if you are in the Rochester area. The festival also includes percussionist extraordinaire Michael Burritt and the percussion ensemble NEXUS.

That's all for now. I will be updating my summer activities in May!
